Choose the right size for your kids to help them build up confidence and sense of balance.

1. THE AGE

Whether it's a balanced bike or a bike with stabilisers, there is a kid bike for every age!

Children can start learning to ride a balance bike from 2 years old.

To help kids learn to ride a bike with ease:
- Choose the balance bike which helps them to get the sense of balance
-  Choose the 14/16/20 inches bike with stabilisers which can give them more confidence to ride their bikes

2. THE HEIGHT

Besides your child's age, size is a major factor when choosing a kid's bike.
Kids need to ride the bike ease to learn properly.
The size is given in inches and corresponds to the wheels' diameter.

When your child learns to ride a bike, make sure the bike size is right for their height.
This make learning faster and more fun for your little cyclists.

Bike sizes vary from 10 to 24 inches.
Depending on your child's height they will need the following bike size.

- Between 85 cm and 1 m: Balance bikes
- Between 90 cm and 1.05 m: Balance bikes or 14" inches bikes
- Between 1.05 m and 1.20 m: 16" inch bike
- Between 1.20 m and 1.35 m: 20" inch bike
- Between 1.35 m and 1.50 m: 24" inch bike

3. USAGE

From 6 years old, kids start using their bikes differently. Whether it's a hybrid or mountain bike, you will need to refine your choice.

-  There are different kinds of hybrid bikes available depending on whether you cycle in cities or countryside. 
They come with features such as a low step through, and accessories such as a basket or panniers, a comfy saddle, mudguards, etc

-  For riding on slightly rougher terrain, a mountain bike is best
