I first bought a small size on line which was massive for me, so went back and changed it for a kids age 14year. And yes decathalon are very good at this. It was advertised as waterproof and I even asked one of the staff who looked at me as if I was slightly mad and said yes it is waterproof. Well it isn’t even showerproof let alone waterproof. I’m a daily cycling commuter and always wear waterproof trousers just in case.well I got a wet bum on the first drizzly day when I was only cycling for about 15mins. Yesterday I was cycling longer and even my pants were wet, and yes ido have a mudguard. The last similar pair I had from you, lasted for few years as they should, and they still kept the water out better when I threw them away than these new pair. They have upgraded the style by adding shoe covers and down graded the material so it is thin cheap material. V dissapointed as I buy most of my stuff from decathlon, and enjoy my twice yearly cycle from north London to stock up as it is usually so good. As you can cheap stuff or good quality stuff depending on your price range. Maybe the children’s version are poorer quality but can’t find the ones I bought to write a review. I don’t mind paying more money but I just want trousers which I can be confident will keep me dry
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback regarding these waterproof cycling trousers. I use the adult one (900 model) and it's excellent but I don't know as much about this junior model. I will forward your feedback on to the junior team.
In the meantime, please feel free to return it to us for a refund or an exchange with your receipt.
