Present for the wife who was after a new bike, she loves it.
Great value, serves it's purpose but didn't get my lights as described
Ordered this online and delivered in store. Good service on collection.
To review the bike, first impressions are that it is a comfortable bike, with a good riding position. However, I will say there are a few negatives. I bought the 100 Mudguards which they say are made for this bike. They are an absolute nightmare to fit and keep clear of the tyres. Also the rear mudguard which has a slot for a V100 light won't be in the correct position on a large frame.
As I like to be seen I like to put lots of lights on my bike. However due to the angle of the seat post lights do not shine at the correct angle. regardless as to orientation.
If you can get passed the too low gearing the insane angles on practically every tube for the purpose of fitting lights.
Excellent bike for the money, had it delivered free of charge. Excellent service
The bike is/was great, so let's start it lightish bike and the gearing is/was smooth, ride position good. Problem started 3 wks after getting the bike while riding in traffic the chain kept coming off, took bike back to Bolton and after 2 hours they said it was the front crank then after another 30 mins they said they would replace it but not with same crank, but said another original part would take a week to arrive and is my only transport and after another hour wait bike came back and yes it rideable but it not the same going to have to call the store and them order with another trip 15+ miles each trip. Would have been simplest to either take a part from another bike or change the bike.
Love it very comfy ride and a great bike for the price. Looks good too
Used this bike for a regular 10 mile commute for 2months now. The seating position is very comfortable, (similar to old ‘sit up and beg bikes’) and likewise the saddle. The disc brakes are excellent. The 9 gears are crisp and more than sufficient for a commute. QR front and back plus Schrader valves make fixing punctures easier. Not sure if the front shocks are necessary unless you work on a farm. If Decathlon could loose 1 or 2 kilo’s from the weight (even if it results in a £50 increase in price), this would probably be the fastest and best commuting bike in UK (already 5kg lighter than the Hoprider and Elops)
... The disc brakes are a nightmare to set, I'm still fiddling after a few weeks. Gorgeous bike though, light, so easy to ride apart from the rubbing disc brakes. Got some tools to try sort it, shops charge alot. Again, I love the bike.
Love this bike, but need a female saddle as the men’s one it comes with is really uncomfortable. Once I sort that it’ll be perfect!
Sreamingly good value for money. The bike is low geared but can still clip along at 20+ mph should you be so incluned. The bike was recommended to me over others in store by staff. Many thanks!!
