Bike is ridiculously heavy for a child to use when compared to my other children's bikes - but real issue is the way it came set up. Basic safety checks had not been performed. I spotted the brakes didn't work in store and got those correctly adjusted upon collection. Kicking myself though as a did not spot that the stem was very loose, so on my son's first ride on Christmas Day it came loose whilst riding causing him to crash and hurt himself. He has not wanted to ride the bike since. I will think very carefully before buying any bike from Decathlon again.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of this kids bike.
The bike weighs 12.2kg which is in fact quite competitive compared with similarly priced bikes on the market.
I see that the bike was set up by the store team. I will contact them regarding this matter. I urge you to contact them as well.
I can only apologise for this level of service which is not acceptable.

Does it have 5 gears or 6 gears?
Is it a 320 or a 500.
Who know, im sure i dont.
Im still buying on though
Kids don't respect their things at this age, so we've not paid over the odds for a bike to be trashed. This fits the bill perfectly.
Excellent bike with light and bell’included. Great 5 gears and very easy to get use to. But we should have bought bigger size. My not quite yet 7 is very tall. He had it only 9 months. We underestimated how fast kids can grow in the summer. (Two shoe sizes in less than a month) I think my boy is no exception!
