The built-in hood of the Olaian 500 is made of 100% neoprene for better comfort during use. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 2 mm. The neoprene is made from an elastomer foam with insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.

The seams are stitched and glued for a watertight seal and durability. The seams are "blind-stitched". The thread does not go all the way through the neoprene, preventing water from getting through. The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.

We have added smooth windproof neoprene elements to reduce the chilling effects of wind. This component improves thermal comfort and reduces shivering.

Be sure to position the internal flap of the suit in order to limit water seepage.
